The 7 Best Kitchen Trends of 2025

Every year there are new trends that come and stay – and some that come and go. This year we have rounded up what we think are the best trends that are coming to kitchens near you in 2025. Which ones would you be willing to try in your own kitchen design and which ones would you pass on?

1. Textures

We love integrating different textures when we can and it can come in a lot of shapes and sizes including fabrics, tile, and materials for lighting and hardware.

2. Few Cabinets, Better Quality

Eliminating unnecessary cabinetry allows you to upgrade the cabinets you do have, maximizing their usefulness and leaving walls open for windows, artwork, collections, or breathing space.

3. Collections of Curiosities

We used to call these antiques or collectibles, but they now have a new trendy name “curiosities.” I now have a professional excuse to shop for even more old crap! (It’s for styling of course!)

4. Induction Cooking

We, especially like induction, ranges that mix pro or French styling with induction technology. Bonus points for mixed metals and color options.

5. Mixed Hardware

We’ve done projects where our hardware schedule includes 12 or more different kinds of hardware, with varied finishes. It lends a personal, gathered-over-time feel.
